THE CONSISTENCY CUP — TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Overview

The Consistency Cup is an experimental trading challenge run by Unfunded Resistance (“we”, “us”, “our”) designed to test trader discipline and consistency — not to promote or sell financial products. Participation in the Cup is free for Season Zero and completely voluntary. By entering, you agree to follow all rules, maintain honesty in submissions, and acknowledge that this is a psychological challenge, not an investment competition.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to participate.
• You must have access to the internet and a valid email.
• You must be capable of opening and managing an FTMO Free Trial account.
• You must agree to all rules posted within the official Discord server or Cup channels.
• Entry is limited to one account per person. Duplicate or alternate accounts may result in removal.

3. Nature of the Challenge

The Consistency Cup is for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not financial advice, a prop firm partnership, or a profit-making scheme. The Cup’s focus is on discipline, consistency, and emotional control — not monetary performance. All trades are executed on demo accounts, not real money. The Cup is not affiliated with FTMO or any prop firm.

4. Entry Requirements

To enter, you must:

• Create a free FTMO trial account.
• Generate and share your public FTMO metrics link.
• Submit your strategy plan in the designated Cup entry channel using the official format.
• Agree to all Cup rules and community guidelines.

Entries may be reviewed or rejected at our discretion if they are incomplete, unclear, or violate Cup principles or community standards.

5. Privacy & Data

• We do not collect or store login credentials or private account details.
• Participants share only public FTMO links that contain summary performance metrics.
• Your FTMO data remains on FTMO’s servers.
• We may screenshot or reference Cup results, quotes, or standout performance/journal examples for community updates or promotional content.
• By participating, you grant Unfunded Resistance permission to use your username, Cup entries, or journal posts (in whole or in part) for educational or promotional purposes — anonymised or respectfully attributed unless you explicitly consent otherwise.

6. Conduct & Honesty Policy

By joining, you agree to:

• Follow your submitted trading plan for the duration of the Cup.
• Report any rule breaks honestly in the relevant Cup/violation channel.
• Maintain respectful conduct towards all participants and moderators.
• Avoid manipulation, falsified data, or impersonation of another trader.

Dishonesty or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification or removal.

7. Judging & Results

• Winners (if declared) are evaluated primarily on rule adherence and consistency, not raw profit.
• The judging process is manual and community-transparent where possible.
• Moderators may review FTMO links, journal entries, and violation reports to assess performance against the rules.
• In all cases of dispute, the decision of the moderators is final.

8. Prizes (If Applicable)

• Season Zero carries no financial prize.
• Future seasons may include entry fees or prizes (e.g. funded challenge fees), which will be subject to separate, clearly defined terms.
• No monetary compensation, salary, or guarantee of funding is implied at any stage.

9. Disclaimer

The Consistency Cup is not a financial service, investment program, or trading signal provider. All activity occurs on demo accounts with simulated funds. We do not offer investment advice, guarantee performance, or endorse specific trading systems, brokers, or prop firms.

Participation is entirely at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for FTMO platform issues, connectivity problems, account suspensions, or any emotional or psychological impact resulting from participation. If trading-related stress becomes significant, you are strongly encouraged to pause or withdraw.

10. Moderation & Removal

• We reserve the right to remove any participant for rule breaches or disruptive behaviour.
• We may modify, pause, or terminate the Cup at any time.
• We may adjust timelines, criteria, or entry limits when necessary.
• Participants found cheating or harassing others may be banned from future events.
• All moderator and administrator decisions are final.

11. Content Use & Intellectual Property

• All Cup-related materials — including name, graphics, branding, written content, and formats — are the intellectual property of Unfunded Resistance.
• You may share or discuss the Cup publicly, but you may not replicate, monetize, or create a branded “clone” of the Cup without written permission.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unfunded Resistance and its affiliates accept no liability for:

• Any financial loss (real or perceived) linked to your personal trading activity.
• Emotional or psychological harm arising from participation.
• Technical issues, outages, or errors affecting platforms used in the Cup.

Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.

13. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. Significant changes will be announced in the official Cup announcement channels or via the Unfunded Resistance website.
